UK Web Series Festival is the first regional touring web festival in the UK. It will take place on 29th of October starting in London and then the screenings will continue in Manchester, Birmingham and Bath.

On 20th of August “Talking to Grandma” won at Kwebfest festival (South Korea) an Award for “Best Sketch Comedy”. Meredith Burkholder, the founder of Web Fest Berlin handed the award to Ula Zawadzka, main creator of the web series.
“KWebfest” festival took place between 18 and 22nd of August in Seoul in South Korea, were 110 web series got officially selected form around the globe. “Talking to Grandma” web series was additionaly nominated for “Best Music”, composed by Michał Woźniak.
During the festival 2 episodes from the series were screened. For Episode 4 “Cookie monster” it was a world premiere. The other one, Ep. 7 “Phone book” was screened befor at “New Media Film Festival” in Los Angeles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe8FPXKXn3k). Subtitles were translated by the organiser into Korean language. Episodes were screened in two groups: “Programmers choice” and “Best Sketch Comedy”. KWebfest is also an official distributor of “Talking to Grandma” web series in Asia.
New episodes coming in September!
‘Talking to Grandma’ web series has been officialy invited to one and only festival of web series in Asia “KWebfest”.
“KWebfest” festival will take place between 18th and 20th of August in Seoul, South Korea. There will be presented 110 web series from all over the world. The organiser will translate the dialogs to Korean language for the Korean audience. The expected general audience will be at least 5 thousand people! The festival helps also to ditribute the web series on the asian online video platforms.
During the festival 3 episodes of “Talking of Grandma” are going to be screened. For two of them Ep. 2 called “300” and Ep. 4 “Cookie monster” it will be the festival world premiere. Episode 7 “Phone book” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe8FPXKXn3k) has already been screened in the beginning of June on “New Media Film Festival” in Los Angeles, USA. Ula Zawadzka and her husband, Dariusz Wieteska took part in that event.
